TOTEM is a musical interactive installation composed of percussive modules and other noise machines. Real instrumentarium of concrete and electronic music, the installation comes to life thanks to a tracking system detecting the presence and the movements around it.
TOTEM can experience passively or actively: it can be watched, listened to and danced with it. Adapting to the number of participants, each TOTEM experience if unique and unpredictable.
Version 1 (2013) consisted of plexiglass boxes containing percussive modules. Version 2 (2017) is a steel sculpture created for the Teriaki festival by Vincent Jarry.
